Spring Summer 2023 is redolent of far-off shores and the people who might have once dressed the part to explore them, but never long enough to stay in one place. Long South-Asian skirts in the finest striped cotton and silk, belted safari jackets or bandana-collar flowy silk shirts in crimson red, chalk white and straw yellow carry a reminiscence of Cuban adventurers and sailors. Shin-long evening coats and jackets with Nehru-collar in black, bone white and ultramarine blue have the hieratic rigour of a uniform but suggest a sense of devout elegance of the very well travelled.
